This damaging process changes it’s character, appearance and even soul, like individuals progressing through life, gaining wisdom from enduring a vastness of emotional and physical encounters. This alteration forms new elements of interest in the material, elements that are natural and organically unique in formation.

Through the use of different chemical ingredients and techniques, we can create several varying finishes, providing a range of different characters within the collection.

MATERIALS

When it came to creating the form of the lamp, a key component became the industrially available ‘‘L’’ profile. We took this rigid, standardized material and shaped it into a much more organic form, blending the industrial and biological worlds and creating a lamp with unique elements and character..
